FliteControl™
The World's Best Copilot!

Bring your cockpit to the 21st Century!  The new FliteControl™ control and command module from Aveo brings the digital revolution and more safety features to your cockpit, along with the world's first aircraft biometric anti-theft system.

Today's general aviation aircraft instrument panels are a "goulash" of switches, gauges, knobs and buttons, with a spaghetti wiring nightmare that comes with them.  Finally, Aveo has solved the cockpit clutter and brought some incredible new features and essential aviation information to the pilot.

The FliteControl™ module does a variety of things, which we will review briefly in this brochure.  It is another quantum - leap product from the Aveo DigitalFlightDeck™ range, with a truly sunlight - readable high resolution full color OLED touchscreen display.  Integrated into the FliteControl™ module is:
  • a biometric fingerprint scanner for powering up the entire aircraft (and default screen backup is a PIN Code screen just like your bank ATM access)
  • a starter switch
  • mag switches with OLED status display screens
  • capacitive touch screen digital OLED switches for Battery Master and Avionics Master and two user-programmable OLED electronic AveoActivTouch™ switches that can be set up to display and control whatever the pilot desires, such as Boost Pump, Stormscope, Heater, etc.
Inside the FliteControl™ blackbox module (relays and circuit protection) that comes with the display unit is our unique "electronic fuse" system which automatically resets or isolates as per pilot setup preference.

Besides providing total security to the startup of your airplane with the biometric scanner or PIN Code power access control, the FliteControl™ has multiple information and monitoring screens for such things as:
  • OAT and icing conditions warning, and icing systems control/status monitor
  • Cabin temperature monitor and fan control
  • Aircraft graphical and numerical C.G. and weight monitor
  • Aircraft “g”-Force indicator and permanent recorder
  • Aircraft AOA (Angle of Attack)
  • Aircraft remote tire inflation monitor and graphical display
  • Electric main and auxiliary systems and battery volt/amps monitor
  • Metric to english units conversion such as "hg to millibars/hectopascals and feet to meters, etc.
  • Hobbs meter,  and flight log
  • UTC and Flight Time Clock and inflight approach one-touch timer.
  • Optional remote tire monitoring
  • Optional VHF touchscreen radio
With an easy touchscreen intuitive setup menu the pilot can customize what displays are shown when and how, and the setting of all alarm limits and alarm notifications.  Available in two different enclosure shapes, the FliteControl™ is unlike anything in today's cockpit avionics, and will make flying easier and safer, while lowering your insurance with the anti-theft system.

Available in 2 standard sizes !

The AveoFliteControl™ has been designed and packaged into two display form factors, one long and narrow, and one higher and shorter.  These have been optimized to fit the most common instrument panel space constraints.  The display unit features a simple and quick CanBus connector on the rearside, allowing rapid plug-n-play connection to the FliteControl™ blackbox unit or aircraft electrical circuits. The high brightness OLED display is the most advanced organic LED display technology available today with an integral touchscreen interface.

The FliteControl Black Box™ Module

Standard with each FliteControl™ unit is the AveoBlackBoxFC™ module.  This is the brains behind the display unit, which is connected simply with one cable and CanBus quick connector.  The black box is where the relays and electronic fuse circuitry is located, and it is the connection point for all the electronic switches and buttons, sensors, etc. on the display unit.  It is mounted anywhere behind the instrument panel or on the firewall.  For those who purchase the DigitalFlightDeck™ avionics, this module quick-connects into the DFDConnectModule™.
